SKAL International World Heritage Treasure Hunt 2008

The event started at Khoo Kongsi for the flag off.

I have persuaded my sister to come along with me to work that day.
She finally agreed when I woke her up in the morning.
Surprisingly, she did not hesitate or grumble when I woke her to ask if she was coming along.
My job was an easy cake and I don't have to be there for very long.
I just had to take a few snapshots of the event.

Me and my sister got lost for awhile when we were walking back to Cititel Hotel thanks to my sister's smart move.
I led her to the right road but she kept insisting that it was the other way.
Thank god I decided to ask for direction at a mamak or not we will be walking like there's no tomorrow.
True enough.
I was right.
Should have used the road I was leading.
Bah~~~~

Happy 3rd Anniversary

Today's the official day of my 3rd anniversary with bie.
How fast time flies huh..
It felt like yesterday was my 2nd anniversary.
7/11 is the date that we got together and it is impossible not to remember this date.
Anyways, I can't blog much coz I'm at work.

Bosco Wong visit at G

For all you Bosco Wong (Not sure how to spell his Chinese name) fans out there! Don’t be jealous when you see this!

My boss Ivy (not my head boss) was very much excited when Bosco Wong’s manager called to arrange a stay at G Hotel. Before the actual day of his check-in, my boss sent out an email to all the staffs upon his check-in, the rooms that will be occupied by TVB8 members, time and date of his arrival. Almost everyone was trilled and it seemed like I was the only one who aren’t excited about it. I didn’t know who he was or how he looked like until I open the picture attachment in the email Ivy sent. I thought he was er.. Not good looking? Very ordinary?

I forgot how advanced our technology has become until my colleague came running into my office, screaming as soft as she could, showing me a MMS picture sent to her phone by one of her friend working at the airport. Her friend took a picture with Bosco Wong the moment he arrived. Then my boss received a call from Bosco’s Manager upon arriving at the airport. About less then 10 minutes later, my boss told me that she will be heading to the lobby for a stand-by, waiting for their arrival. I didn’t thought of going until Su (the screaming colleague) decided to tag Ivy along and Clarisse (also in my department) as well. I was a little curious to see him in person if he is better looking than the appearance in picture so I decided to tag along too. Okay fine! I was being KPC! While waiting at the lobby, a few more of my colleague came along and the next thing we know, all of us were chatting away and Su started taking pictures of us and with us.

It took longer than we expected for him to arrive because we were waiting at the lobby for about 20 minutes plus the 10 minutes after the call, it took them about 30 minutes to arrive from the airport. Ivy consulted Bosco if we could take a picture with him and he didn’t refuse. I was just there in the picture just for fun. I was wrong that he might be good looking in person but he’s not at all. Some say they like him for his personality, style, and attitude and some think is too hot to handle. *Faints* Where got?

As soon as we all got back to the office (except Ivy), everyone was pestering Clarisse to upload the picture and send it to them. While Clarisse was doing the requested favor, I turned to look at them behind all lined up waiting eagerly for the picture. All of them went “ooh and aah(s)” the moment the picture appeared on the screen. As soon as the icon button ‘send’ was clicked by Clarisse, everyone left back to their departments leaving with satisfaction. Everyone left with laughter and multiple thank you(s) to Clarisse. It was a fun day..
