As you can see from one of my previous post, I was complaining about being blind soon, headache and etc. This time, I think my legs are going to break! Yeah I know I'm exaggerating but my whole leg hurts like hell! Every day!

Why my legs this time you say? Well, it's because I've started being in the reception since Monday. I've been given a recognition that I can pick things up really fast through the observation and word of mouth after I started in the reservations. One of the Sales Manager came to speak to me recently and told me that he had been hearing lots of compliments about me and he said he was impressed how I handled bookings and how I speak to my guests when he came by to the department while I was busy one day. Even Lee Ping told me that he overheard people talking about me and how impressed they were with me. I guess all this while they thought I'm the kind of person who are unable work because for some reason one, I was in Marketing Communication and I don't deal with them.. Two, there weren't any much work for me to do in Sales Department and they couldn't really be bothered with me. They are alot of politics in Sales Department and each and everyone rather do their work then guiding any trainees in the department.

I was able make bookings on my third day of work and Adeline, my Room Division Manager expected me to start making check-ins on my second day which I did. I have no idea if she was joking with me but she gave me a really happy face when she saw me making check-ins.

My legs are killing me coz my pumps aren't comfortable enough for me to stand for hours. My new flat shoes are still new so go figure!

Tonight is a Friday night and I'm staying home. I'm so proud of myself! Yay!

I need a foot massage! Anyone care to do me that favor? :)

The Sky was so beautiful last week, on a Saturday evening.

I couldn't help noticing it when I was on the phone with Su.

After I got off the phone, I went towards where I kept my camera immediately.

Look at the results I got..

The sky turned from orange to dark blue with awesome shading of colors..

I experienced something really unexpected today. Never have I ever thought that I'd be in a situation like that. It was rather shocking when it happened and I didn't know what or how to react to it. I was speechless and stunned!

Anyways, it has been quite awhile now since me and Diana had a long conversation, sharing secrets and life experiences. It was really nice to sit and talk for hours, laughing at things that we have gone through.

Sis came ringing at my doorbell when she couldn't get me on my mobile. I was snoring and sleeping away like a pig. My brother Steven came into my room to inform me that my friend is outside. Hmm.. speaking of it now.. I think I sorta asked my brother who was outside and how does she look like and whether it's a she or a he. LOL! I'm not sure whether I told him to ignore that person outside coz all I wanted was to get back to my precious sleep. Oops! Hehe! Hey! I was damn sleepy and freaking tired alright? :)

So there was Diana strolling into my room, calling me to wake up. I was groaning endlessly and I wanted her to leave me alone. Then she had to pull the curtains and let the sun light shine in. I covered myself with my pillow and blanket to block the light away from me. I commanded her to run off to the shower so that I can sleep for a little bit but it felt like I managed to shut off my eyes for a second only when she came back to the room. I struggled to pull myself up, went for the shower and came back to my room only to find her sleeping instead. Bloody hell!

I wanted to wake her and disturb her as a payback but didn't bother to in the end coz what was more important at that time was to eat the nasi lemak she got me. Damn hungry wei! So then I did some chores after that while I let Diana take her short nap. I know, so nice of me right? S yeah.. That's how my day actually went today catching up and hanging out at my place.

I think I'm going to melt in this heat and it's freaking night time! The whether it's too hot today. Arrgh! Oh well, that's all for now.. Hope I didn't bore you all with this post. Till then.. Laters!

Oh gosh! I am gonna go blind if I kepe straining my eyes in front of the computer!

Thank God I'll be at the reception next Monday but next whole week will be my last week of office hour shifts and off days on a weekend.

I am going to start having shifts once I start at the reception, exec lounge, guest service management and guest service officer.

I'm taking it as a good thing actually..

It will be nice to have off days on weekdays for a change.

It's really stressful being in the reservations.

Lot's of multi-tasking, remembering things, and input-ing info into your brain.

Believe me, it's hectic in there but I gotta admit it that I love it!

Part of it is that I love talking and deal with people, though not the nasty ones..

I love moving constantly and doing things without having to stop but ofcourse I do need a break and let my brain rest for a bit during toilet breaks, and lunch.

Time flies when you are really working.

I feel important when most of the guest would like to speak to me to make bookings.

Every dept I go to I'm familiar with everything and I don't mind doing Marketing Communication work when I'm in Sales or Reservations.

People seek me for help and again yes, I love to feel important!

Whee~~

I love working more than studying.

Think about the time when you can't go out and do what you love when exams are near and when you have to rush for assignments.

When working, you are free to do whatever you like after clocking out.

The best part of all, you are spending on what you earned!! $$$$

One thing about working in Reservations is that you will get a headache at the end of the day, images you see seemed to look blur, and your can feel the heat in your ear for talking on the phone all day.

Pimples are popping out like mushrooms too and I feel like I am losing weight a little.

My weight goes up and down all the time.

When I realize that weight seems to be dropping, I'll take in more and the other way round if I start to gain.

Maybe part of it is that I haven't been eating much too since my mum have been away for about 2 weeks now.

No home cook food to stuff myself like a couch potato.

Mom's in Aussie now with her boyfriend, Nick and she will only be back in 2 weeks time.

Aaahh~~~

Bad Experience of the Day

What a day!! Today is just not a day for everyone. I went to work today feeling tired because I was up late last night talking to Meng. No, not my new guy or anything.. Just a friend I click with really well.

I went to bed about 3 plus in the morn and I woke up feeling like I haven't slept at all. 

Went to work this morning and had a complaint from Lee Phing saying that one of the Sales Manager took credit for her work, Su had a huge fight with a guy she really likes, and June had an argument with her husband. They are all my colleagues. Everyone was pretty down except me until after lunch. It was my turn! 

I'm currently in the reservations department and it has been more than a week now and next Wed I will be placed in the reception. It has been a really great experience to learn everything from the management side and how to manage the hotel at the front office. Who knows maybe I'll be a general manager someday in a hotel. LOL! 

Anyways, I attended this guest over the phone for a booking for 2 person (a father & son) for 3 nights stay in g Hotel. She requested for Executive Suite for a double single bed where the room only provide a King size bed. She said that the father and son would like to sleep separately. So I suggested her to take an extra bed which is chargeable for RM60++. She asked me, "why do I wanna do that?"

She refuses to pay for the additional bed and insisted to have the Executive Suite. I didn't really know what to do so I made the booking for her as she was rushing me off. So I called her back again after an hour and told her that if she insists to have the Executive Suite I would have to charge her with an additional bed or take another room category. As I was looking through the room availability in the system, the only category left on the Exec Floor (she insisted to have the room on an Exec Floor) is an Exec Standard Twin room. She told me no, she want a higher category and I told her that the rest of the higher category are fully booked except for the Exec Suite. So I told her that if she still insist to have the Exec Suite, the only thing I can help her with it's the additional bed. She then asked me why I can't fit 2 twin beds in the room. You know at that time I nearly lose my patience. Her tone and the questions she asked, it's damn fucked up. I wanted to tell her that I will get someone to chop the king size bed into half just for them. 

I got even angrier when she told me that she didn't understand why we can't arrange a twin bed for them for that room. I almost bang my head onto the wall beside me. She continued saying, "how can a father sleep on the king size bed while the son sleeps in his extra single bed?" 

I honestly wished I had a gun in my hand at that time. Seriously, she asked me alot of questions which I can't seem to find an answer for her. One of it is when she asked me why does she has to pay an additional charge for the extra bed when she's booking an Exec room. Like whoa!! It's an Exec Room wei! Don't mess! 

From the beginning when she spoke to me on the phone for the booking, she wasn't talking. She was mumbling! And when I needed her to repeat, each time she will pause and her tone will change. She is such a whore! 

The best part is that she actually became angry after,and she took down my manager's email. Later, my colleague was checking emails for my manager and then she came across an email from that bitch. She fucking filed a complaint about me and she fucking cc it to my General Manager. And even the best part is that she twisted every fucking story about me and the information I gave her. 

First, she complained that she finds it stupid that she has to pay for an additional bed when she is booking for an Exec Suite. Then she says that I didn't tell her that the room is provided with a king size bed until she called the second time. Never mind.. She continued saying that I suggested her twin bedded room when I told her later that all the categories on the exec floor is fully booked. The fuck! I specifically told her that the rest of the higher category is fully booked when she refuse to have the Exec Standard Twin. She made me sound like an idiot and it is all so sweet that she actually cc it to my general manager about this! You should see the way she wrote the email about me.. Seriously, my day was ruined after when all this happened. I felt like smashing every damn thing in the office. When my manager came back from French Class, I explained everything to her and she handled the complaint for me immediately. She called that bitch and stress that the Exec Suite has no double beds but king bed only. Within seconds, she agreed to take up the additional bed! I was going to explode after.. After all that crap she gave me! My manager asked her to take the additional bed for the son while she can sleep with her husband on the king bed. That shut her up a little I guess because she said the room it's for her boss and her son. This bitch must be having an affair with the boss la bloody A hole.. Well the hell she wanna make such a big fuss when the room isn't for her anyways?

Talking about it now just made me angrier! Arrgh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Comeback

Hello my fellow blogger peeps! Miss me? It was a beautiful day this afternoon but I chose to stay in to modify my tacky blog and update a post. Geez.. It has been such a long time now since I've updated. 

First of all, I would like to apologize to my blog for neglecting it. Second, I would like to apologize for missing out so many of your blog updates. That applies to everyone of you.. 

I think I owe everybody an explanation. Tee Hee~~ Nothing changes there isn't it. After months of being missing in action? Still the tee hee there.. Okaay.. :) Anyways, why I stopped blogging.. Hmm.. that's a tough one.. Haha kk.. Serious now Angie.. I stopped blogging for awhile because, I had no time, I've been busy working, and my Internet line was cut off. Since I'm working and I'm always going out frequently, I had no time for home except for sleep, eat, and do some chores. I don't even watch TV anymore.. So with little time to myself, let alone have time to blog..the internet line was unpaid for months. Don't worry.. The streamyx people have mercy on lazy people like us. We were given a good deal to settle of the bill.

I can't really tell you what I've been up to or how my life has been lately all in one post. That's definitely something I can't do. I'll keep updating so ya'll will have a clear idea what I've been up to. Whether I've been naughty or nice.. Sweet, innocent, or wild.. Blah blah blah.. I'm simply crapping here so don't mind me. My head is just not straight today if you know what I mean. Gosh it feels good to blog again.. Whee~~

So what do you think of my blog layout? Me think me likey.. LOL! But editing it me no likey! But the results.. Satisfying and worth it. Changing the header took me a whole day to do it.. It's a bit blurish than the original header but heck.. I don't have the effort to start from square one again..

Wokay, my stomach is telling me that I should fill it up with some food now so off I go.. Till then.. Chaoz!
